Here at The Most Radicalist it’s fair to say we’re big fans of superstar Bryde and her DIY, female-focused approach to music. Without any fuss or show, she’s managed to enlist a steady stream of badass women to help her new album Like An Island come to life – including mixer Catherine Marks and mastering engineer Mandy Parnell. Having reviewed her previous singles ‘To Be Brave’, ‘Wouldn’t That Make You Feel Good’, ‘Honey’ and ‘Wait’, it’s only right that we now pay dues to the fantastic ‘Euphoria’, which dropped yesterday. It’s a comparatively downtempo ballad for Bryde, but nonetheless carries all the hallmarks we’ve come to know and love in her music: vulnerability, honesty and empowerment.
